Approval to wear Cadet Dress Uniform for non-cadet activities
As the Commanding Officer of the 707 Air Cadet Squadron, I approve cadets to wear uniform to school or to other non-cadet activities in relation to Remembrance week. Cadets must ensure they adhere to the expected standards, represent the CCO in a good manner, etc.
The key things to note with this is that parents must be aware that these are not cadet activities, there is no CCO supervision, League insurance is not in effect. The use of rifles (actual, DP, or replica), swords, cutlasses, etc. is not authorized for non-cadet activities.
If there are any questions, comments, or concerns please direct them to myself:
Jeffrey.Langford@cadets.gc.ca
“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”
